Who are we?

Admit One Entertainment supports New Zealand Screen IP by providing development, production, co-production, sales and distribution pathways.

Whether developing our own in-house IP or fostering upcoming talent, Admit One is committed to delivering engaging entertainment that is both critically and commercially successful.

We also power the Terror-Fi Film Festival, New Zealand’s premier genre fest.

Admit One is based in Wellington New Zealand, with offices in Toronto and Los Angeles.

James Partridge

Owner / Producer / Festival Director

James’ 19 years of screen experience includes roles as Producer, Executive Producer, Distributor and Film Festival Director.

Serving as Producer on both New Zealand and international productions, James’ credits include Shanghai International Film Festival and Chinese Oscar-nominated films The Turn of the Screw and Eternity. James currently producing the upcoming horror-comedy Black Sheeps, the sequel to cult classic Black Sheep.

James is also the Founder and Festival Director of the internationally-recognised Terror-Fi Film Festival, New Zealand’s premier genre festival.

James has several feature films in development with Admit One Entertainment and Terror-Fi Films, the festival’s new genre film production arm. He also represents other feature film IP in market.

Sam Braun

Producer

Sam has over a decade of screen production experience. She has worked with Adam Sandler at Happy Madison and Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman at Playtone. Sam has also worked with several independent screen production companies in North America.

As a business partner in Admit One Entertainment, Sam has several feature films and a television series in development. She also represents feature film IP in market.

Based in Toronto, Sam is currently building co-production opportunities between Canada, the US, the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

Sam is currently Executive Producing Black Sheeps.
